We encourage you to use public transport where possible.
Getting here by train
Trongate 103 is a:
- 5-minute walk from Argyle Street station
- 10-minute walk from Glasgow Queen Street
- 10-minute walk from High Street station – 10 mins walking distance.

The closest Subway stop is St Enoch, which is a 10-minute walk away.

Getting here by bus
The 2, 18, 60, 61 and 263 stop outside Trongate 103. The stop is called Candleriggs.

Parking
If you need to come by car, there are a limited number of on-street parking bays available on King Street and Parnie Street, including Blue Badge bays.
There is also a car park nearby (Q-Park Candleriggs) which has 5 disabled spaces.

There is level access from the street into the building.
There are no steps at the entrance.
Getting to the gallery
The exhibition is on the first floor.
You can get there by:
- one flight of stairs, or
- a lift

Inside the building
There is level access throughout the building.
The lifts have voice announcements.
Toilets
There is an accessible toilet on the first floor.
It is in the main public area and has:
- space for wheelchair users
- an alarm cord
- a sink
Sensory Information
You can borrow fidget toys and other sensory supports from the front desk.
The gallery is generally quiet, but we have ear defenders you can borrow if you need them.
The lighting can be quite bright. We have eye shades you can wear, or ask the gallery staff for help with turning off lights.
There is a work called Stone Life that plays sound when you approach it. If you want us to turn it off while you are here, please ask the gallery staff.
All other videos and sound works play through headphones.
Stone Life is a light-up work. It has three lanterns, set up in a dark booth. If you are sensitive to light/dark contrast you might not want to enter the booth.
Information for Visually Impaired Visitors
We have 2 light up magnifiers that you are welcome to borrow from the front desk.
We have Large Print labels at the front desk.
We have audio labels. The label next to each artwork has a QR code on it. Scan the QR code, and it will read out the label and an audio description of the work.
You can also listen to all our artwork labels on our bandcamp page (link coming soon).
If you need water for your guide dog, please ask at the front desk.
Information for D/deaf and Hard of Hearing Visitors
We have 3 video works, all of which are captioned. Captioned and non-captioned versions alternate in a continuous loop.
Seating in the gallery
There is a bench to sit on inside the gallery, and some folding chairs at the front desk.
There is also a chair with a back just outside the gallery.
We are still finalising the seating arrangements in the gallery. We will update this section once we have the final arrangements.
