A hand-bound book. The cover is collaged. There is a black band running vertically along the left edge of the cover. There is a circle cut out from a postcard, which shows a blue-eyed tabby cat on a pink background. The cat looks a bit confused and is wearing a shower cap. The title reads "Book Five (5)"
The book is shown partially open to its title spread. On the right page, cut-out letters spell “Book 5 Five” around a circular image of a cat with striking bright blue eyes wearing a pink ruffled bonnet. The page uses a bold collage style with black vertical bands and silver tape-like accents. The left page is an abstract mixed-media composition in rich blues, teals, purple, black, and white, with fluid ink-like washes, fine contour-style line drawings, and a small bright yellow shape. A folded white paper hinge at the centre highlights the handcrafted binding and interactive structure.
Artist’s book displayed upright with pages fanned open on a white surface. The visible pages form a sculptural, accordion-like arrangement with alternating black, white, and brightly coloured spreads. On the left, a vivid fluorescent yellow and hot pink cover or page features flowing abstract shapes and black textured marks. Deeper inside, glimpses of dark pages with circular cut-outs and orange geometric accents can be seen. The layered structure emphasises the book’s dimensional, handmade form.
