Handling notes:

Some of the mini-books in this volume are made using materials that transfer easily (e.g. oil pastel, chalk paint). We have made glassene sleeves to protect the books from transfer. But you may wish to wash your hands after handling this volume in person.

The book stands upright with pages fanned open, revealing multiple layers of mixed-media spreads in translucent and opaque papers. Glimpses of bright blues, greens, pinks, floral motifs, and geometric forms can be seen through the staggered pages, creating a sculptural, accordion-like silhouette. The overlapping translucent sheets allow colours and shapes from different pages to softly show through, highlighting the book’s tactile, handmade, and dimensional quality.
